Founded upon the Rock of Ages; Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth and the life; Great Light is because He was and is and is to come. Depressed, confused, and burdensome in the midst of what I perceived to be one of the darkest hours of my life; I began to press my way towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3.14). I didn’t fully understand it yet but my passion for the kingdom and All its righteousnes I began to seek first like never before! Hungry and thirsty for righteousness I began to call on the Name of the Lord (fasting & praying) like never before. I soon began to understand that my current position as a maintenance technican was in fact not my final destination (it was simply a season within the times and purposes of God). The pay was good, the field enriched with endless opportunities of growth; but all I could think was would I ever reach the mark {Phili3.14}? One mid-night in the fall of 2019 as continued (halfway snoozed) seeking direction and conformation as to what, and who I am to continue to be in the earth; Great Light fell into my heart along with the scripture (Mark 4.16). I rolled over, turned the light on and wrote it down on the first piece of paper (that I tussled to obtain) . As I received the text I felt the spirit of the word dismantling every ounce of restlessness that had associated itself with me in that season of my life; in return there was a peace that surpassed all understanding (Philippians 4.7). Did I know what to do next?…. No, but Peace was now my habitation. Did I know what the scripture (Mark4.16) meant in correlation to my situation?.. No, I was clueless.
